And it begins!

There is a lot to tell and update. I am currently back in the USA after having been in Hong Kong for 10 years and Thailand for 2. Needless to say, moving to Thailand and then back to the US in a short period of time has completely stripped me of physical possessions and lightened […]

I’m not a mouse, a monkey or a fly!

When I was young, we used to live in a large house that was on large plot of property filled with very old oak trees.  In these tree’s were a lot of squirrels and one summer a couple of them found a way into our house, through the rafters, and started to reek havoc. My […]

Illiteracy leads to higher mortality risk??

Studies of late have been showing that people with poor literacy skills have a greater chance of dying over a five year period compared to others of the same age group. It seems that the possible correlation is that a lack of reading skills equates to less knowledge of chronic disease and illnesses.  Lack of […]

Lipo and other fat removal remedies

I have always been perplexed by things like liposuction being listed in life extension and anti aging forums.  I guess one could try to argue that being heavy will cause other problems in your body that lead to a shortened life but simply removing fat cells, in my opinion, is not going to help with […]

Health and Beauty Expo

Keeping in mind that I am in Hong Kong so when I say tomorrow, that is Saturday for me but may be Friday for others.  Tomorrow, I will go to Guangzhou China to attend the 30th Biannual Guangzhou International Beauty Expo. “Beauty Expo, Hugo, have you lost your mind”?  You might say.  No, actually I […]
